EMPOWORD JOURNALISM

One of my closest friends from Chile wrote an article for the constitutional draft proposed in the elections of 2021. I was in Chile at the time and the political ambiance was so intense and interesting, I tried changing my flight so I could be there for the elections and experience the country’s anticipation / excitement / hearbreak along with my friend.

It was too expensive to change my flight, but I got a couple of interviews in and when the results came out, wrote an article about it.

Besides a coverage of an art professor’s exhibit for my college newspaper my freshman year, this is my only journalistic piece. While the news weren’t great for my friend, I enjoyed the experience writing and publishing it!
